Synopsis
GRAND GUIGNOL, DOUZIEME PARTIE: FINALE All should have been well in Opal -- but a new terror has risen that threatens Starman's city. A threat that will destroy the city once and for all unless one hero makes the ultimate sacrifice. The Mist has hooked himself up to a thrice-redundant dead-man switch hooked up to a nuclear device hidden in the building below him. And then he has taken poison. In five minutes the bomb will flatten what is left of Opal. Ted Knight swoops down in the biggest cosmic rod he has ever built. He scoops up the building, the bomb and the Mist and takes it all into space. The two reminisce over past encounters and then the bomb goes off, killing them both and harming no one else.
