Synopsis

This one-shot title serves as the prologue to a Dark Horse series based on Robert Heinlein’s 1959 novel and the 1997 TriStar Pictures movie, Starship Troopers. In this series, Jean Rasczak is a starship trooper who lost his arm in combat with marauding alien bugs. Now retired from duty, he is a teacher of moral philosophy. When he is sent to Dantana, a rebel colony planet, the bugs unexpectedly attack. Rasczak and his student, Kurt Allen, take on the bugs in full gear and with guns, and end up the only survivors. Together, they swear to fight and destroy the bugs.
