Synopsis

Val thinks back on all the strange happenings that have been disrupting what she hoped would be a return to the quiet life. Instead, she's had mecha spiders knocking on her door, her best friend ended up in the hospital, and two of her team are missing in action. Not good. Val, feeling cornered, has to seek out help from the one person she lacks all trust in to save herself and those close to her.
