The year of Shirow in Super Manga Blast! is just getting started, and as fall sets in, it's time to consider how to pass those winter days on the way. But why argue with yourself? Just pick up the new issue of SMB! to warm up your brisk evenings! If Shirow's Appleseed isn't hot enough for you, you're sure to sweat in your seat when you read Shadow Star, as the dragon kids expose weaknesses in their abilities, but is it a weakness in the dragons, or the kids? And over in 3x3 Eyes things aren't exactly cooling off, as Pai, Yakumo, and tough-punching Jake get ever closer to the secret of the sacred land. Plus, cutey Pai takes a bath. Meow! As always, plenty of action from Seraphic Feather, as the battle rages in the research lab and it looks as if the whole place will collapse, but somehow Apep and Fawn find the time to have a little make-out session. Phew, things are getting ever so spicy in Super Manga Blast!, like the cinnamon in a pumpkin pie! Happy Halloween!
