Synopsis
A doppleganger of the Swamp Thing, born from a part of Swamp Thing's own body that was severed in Swamp Thing #5 stalks the Florida swamps looking for it's counterpart. Instead it encounters a Seminole man who shelters it.Cable, Abby and Bolt are also searching for Swamp Thing in a nearby town.And Swamp Thing himself - finally come to the realization that his affliction is irreversible, contemplates death by suicide... or herbicide as the case may be.(This is part one of a two part story that was originally intended to be a single double sized issue.)
