Released November 1976
Teen Titans #44
Synopsis
More than three years after Teen Titans was cancelled, writers Paul Levitz and Bob Rozakis, with artist Pablo Marcos, revived the series as part of the DC Explosion. Strangely, it was the villainous Dr. Light who called for the reunion of Robin, Kid Flash, Wonder Girl, Speedy and the non-super powered Mal Duncan. Dr. Light faked an emergency call to Titans Lair so that he could trap the teens and use them as bait against the Justice League. The illuminated antagonist might have succeeded had he not been so dimwitted about Mal, who used a strength -enhancing exo-skeleton to revive the team and power down Dr. Light.
