Synopsis
Cain goes on trial for his murders of Abel, and both the Dreaming and the Waking pay the price in this one-shot. Abel frees Judge Gallows from the House of Mystery, and the jurist's first order of business is the trial of Cain. As characters from The Sandman and The Dreaming play their parts in the proceedings, a guilty verdict proves to be the inescapable conclusion, but no one realizes that the fate of the entire world lies in the balance.
