The future: An older Paul Reid easily defends himself against a mugger, reminding himself of earlier days. "The nasty nineties": The City is plagued by a new serial killer called the Street Sweeper, and the Green Hornet is looking for him alone. He finds him, getting stabbed in the shoulder in the resultant fight. A witness assumes that HE is the killer and alerts the police. Meanwhile, a delayed Kato arrives at Hornet HQ to find that Britt had assumed that the pair were out together, and the two hear a police radio call about the situation.
