Synopsis

Mary sees how poorly the U.S. government can treat Indians.The issue opens with Jeb Kent and the James-Younger gang trying to sell stolen gold for greenbacks in Texas. That's where Jeb runs into Lily Beaumont and his son Taylor for the first time. Meanwhile, Nate Kent and Joshua Freeman visit Nate's other brother Joel William Kent who's a soldier in the U.S. Army, and has found Joshua's father, Tobias, serving in a negro unit.Reunions aside, hard days lay ahead for everyone...
