Bloodmoon takes genetic samples from Grifter as he is trying to synthesize more of the Genesis Drug that gave him his powers. Grifter and Lynch escape and join the badly beaten Backlash as they fight their way out of the Kindred compound. With things falling apart, Grifter tries to save Bloodmoon's life but Backlash interferes and sacrifices his old Team 7 buddy to ensure their escape. Craven nukes the island of Caballito to erase all evidence of the Kindred.
