On a train journey through the cold and forbidding Welsh countryside, an American reporter listens intently to an old man's tale of the Vikings who once invaded this land, and of the Norse Gods they summoned to protect them. But the Gods of Asgard are unprepared for what lays in wait for them - the Welsh Dragon itself, the ferocious embodiment of the land they have come to conquer. And when the Dragon takes exception to their presence, Thor, Odin, Baldur and company find they have a fight on their hands the likes of which they have never experienced.
