Synopsis

"Forged Faces" -- When Senator Bristol forces a "Youth Training Bill" through Congress, children across the nation were herded into near slavery. Bristol then kidnapped the President and intended to assassinate his detractors in order to pass other Fascist laws. In time, they recruited Buddy and Uncle Sam was powerless to save him. Meantime, Bristol hired a sculptor to mold faces and create a duplicate of Uncle Sam and others, as he cried for war. "The King of Crime" -- Doctors Link and Blink bring King Killer back to life.....a man nigh unstoppable, with fangs and fearsome strength. "Who He Is and How He Came To Be" -- The Star Record reporter Laney Pederson claims that Uncle Sam is a fake, supposedly exposing the greatest fraud perpetrated on the American people!  Meanwhile, at the Daily World, a rival reporter sets out to prove that Uncle Sam is far from the phony that Laney claims. "The Man Who Sold His Country" -- Disaster threatens the world, and in America, the presidential election rocks the nation.  Among the inevitable horde of weak factions which blossom for their moment of glory only to be overwhelmed by the larger parties, was the progressive party headed by Horatio Brown who suffered a terrible defeat.  Disillusioned and embittered, the little man decides that he hates the United States and plans to steal and sell its vital defense plans! "The Mad Poet" -- Oh, a horrible tale we have to tell, of a fiendish rhyme and its cruel spell; Of a dastardly plot to rule our land, till Uncle Sam took a hand! "The Steel Helmets" -- As steel-helmeted invaders took over America, Uncle Sam, because people had stopped cheering for him and he lost his strength, fell ill and disappeared completely, finding himself in another world where he was told the only way back was to fight through "swamps of ignorance and of jungles of lies."
