U.S. Comics: The Turning Point

George Washington and his Continental Army are nearly crushed in the Battle of Long Island, saved by a miraculous escape. As the Patriots are driven from New York, Washington crosses the Delaware and stages a stunning attack on the British, keeping hope alive. Then, in the fall of 1777, the Americans pull off another stunning victory at Saratoga. This brings France into the war on the Patriot side, turning the tide.
