Valeria -- not so much a bat, more a demon -- was stolen from her natural parents and raised by the king of the Fire Bats, Lith Kasti. She was to be his concubine when she "grew" into a beautiful woman. This is the saga of Valeria, her brother 'Rilla, and his companions the Were-Breds, as they journey into the unreal depths of the earth to rescue a sister that 'Rilla hasn't seen since they were children. Written by Neal Adams and Peter Stone, with art by Neal Adams, Del Barras, John Nyberg, Rudy Nebres, Joe Rubinstein and Bill Sienkiewicz. Cover by Neal Adams.
