A small town cop, Rick Grimes, wakes up from a coma but something is different. He comes to find that people are dying and coming back as undead monsters. In this Hellish world he has a wife and kid, Lori Grimes and Carl Grimes, who he cannot find. Once he flees the town where he was raised he sets out to find his family in the apocalypse.
