The harried armies of the Eastern Kingdoms are granted a brief respite as the forces of the Demon Lord Astaroth, and those of the Dataran Invasion force, clash together at the mouth of Mount Eganko. Confused by the seemingly inexplicable dissension among their enemies, our heroes beat a hasty retreat towards the Vantish border in the hopes that they can organize some manner of defense while finding an ally in the most unexpected place imaginable.
