"The Dark Mirror" Adam Warlock has traveled to the Soul World. He seeks out the Magus.He asks for the Magus' help in defeating the Goddess. The offer is for them to merge once again. This would give Magus the possibility of taking over Adam's psyche, which has already happened in a past that was erased. But, Magus only hates one thing more than his imprisonment, and that is Adam Warlock. He attacks Adam with a plan to take Warlock's body and return to reality. But he is no match for Warlock who easily defeats him. Warlock realizes that he does not need the Magus' help, for what help could pure hatred be? He leaves Magus and the Soul World.
