The weirdness rides into the sunset with three new stories. Jen Van Meter (Blair Witch Chronicles) writes and Dave Taylor (Superman & Batman: World’s Finest) illustrates “Bury Me Not on the Lone Prairie,” a hilarious story of three ne’er-do-well cowboys on an ill-fated cattle drive. In “Savaged,” written by Bruce Jones (Flinch) with art by Cully Hamner (The Authority Annual 2000), a western traveler learns what dark depths the human soul is capable of reaching. And in “What a Man’s Gotta Do,” writer Peter Milligan (Human Target) and artist Duncan Fegredo (Jay & Silent Bob) tell the darkly comic story of a (sub)urban cowboy’s mid-life crisis.
