"Witches' Brew" WildC.A.T.s is placed in a precarious predicament when Hightower has possessed the form of Voodoo and placed the members of the team in trouble. Zealot and Artemis' battle is interrupted by the Coda and the current majestrix, Andromache. Artemis reveals that the reason to lure out Zealot was two-fold: either she would meet death under Zealot's blade or she would rally Zealot to overtake the Coda and overthrow Andromache as majestrix. The Coda have come to take the heretic, Artemis, and kill her. Zealot and Artemis take on their Coda sisters while the WildC.A.T.s get free and are able to save Voodoo from Hightower. In the midst of battle, Artemis sacrifices her life for Zealot and the Coda departs, though not on friendly terms.
