In New York's East Village, Logan is on the run from McLeish, a hit-man he thought he had killed ten years before, after McLeish killed the father of Logan's then-girlfriend, Ai-Chia Wong. He and McLeish had begun a friendship, but Logan lost his taste for the attitudes of the bloodthirsty killer.An automobile crashes into Logan, pinning him between it and another car.
