X-Men: Children of the Atom #2

Synopsis

In this issue we find out that Scott Summers has been living with an abusive father figure, who has been using him to commit various crimes. Bobby Drake is being harassed by the school bullies who seem to hate mutants, all the while his powers are beginning to develop.Henry McCoy ends up revealing himself as a mutant to them when he saves Bobby from some assassins later that night at a football game. Yet his leap over a bleacher full of people scares the gunmen into falling over the back of the bleachers to his death.
