The conclusion to the Age of the Apocalypse. Apocalypse has a captured Magneto at his citadel and a piece of the M'kaan crystal. His plan is for the X-men to walk into his trap so he can finish them once and for all. Meanwhile Cyclops and Jean Grey had liberated the pens (A detention center for low level mutants and humans that were constantly being experimented on by the dark Beast) and are attempting to get them out of New York. What they don't know is that Havok is sneaking along with escapees waiting for the perfect moment to strike. The Eurasian High Council decided to nuke the United States in hopes of ridding the world of Apocalypse. The Southwest was bombed first, killing everyone there, and when Shadow King informed Apocalypse, he retaliated. He sent out his sea wall defense grid and destroyed all of Eurasia. An epic battle has began.
