Synopsis
Decades after a devastating nuclear war, New York City is mostly underwater, and its once-proud corporate skyscrapers are now looted, skeletal husks inhabited by hostile crime lords and their vicious thugs. The remnants of humanity try to survive at the water's edge, while these brutish gangs and the mysterious paramilitary forces of JOCOM terrorize them. One of the toughest survivors, the bounty hunter known only as Zero, inadvertently saves a young woman named Stark while he's on one of his "trash collecting" missions. Whether Zero likes it or not, Stark's determined to stay by his side. Traveling with him to one of his hideouts, she risks her life when she stumbles onto a closely guarded secret.
