Two versions of this issue exist: this edition that was a convention giveaway and another included with the ID Anthology - a four-disc collection of id Software games released in 1996
The convention edition can be identified by the issue number, #1 on the cover italicized
Also the convention edition with the banner that reads 'Consider yourself warned...' is not italicized whereas the ID Anthology's banner is italicized
