Darth Krayt was created by writer John Ostrander and artist Jan Duursema for the Star Wars: Republic comic series, later becoming a central figure in the Star Wars: Legacy series.

Early Years

Originally a Jedi Knight, A'Sharad Hett was a Tusken Raider who became a Jedi during the Clone Wars. After the fall of the Jedi, he turned to the dark side and became Darth Krayt.

Darth Krayt evolves from a fallen Jedi into a powerful Sith Lord, embodying the complexities of the dark side and the struggles of leadership within the Sith hierarchy.
