Synopsis

SUPERMAN, YOU SCARE ME TO DEATH! / OH PITY, WHERE IS THY STING? Superman encounters a crippled girl named Christy whom he terrifies, but who likes Clark Kents company; As a child, she formed a psychic link with a doll, and when the dolls legs were broken in a fire from which Superboy once rescued her, she psychically lost mobility in her own legs and developed a phobia of Superman. Unable to convince Sapphire to marry him due to an astrological forecast, Metamorpho runs off to join the circus, and helps them keep from folding by putting on an act for the president and the premier of China.
