Synopsis

I'LL TAKE MANHATTAN PART 4 - TO CATCH A THIEF The mob boss Carlino is frightened of Selina Kyle. She won't stop at Randolf Industries or even the mayorship. She's already going after the black market and organized crime, and they can't stop her because she'll cheat to defeat Councilman Murty in the election. Carlino knows the people they previously hired didn't have a chance of beating her intellectually, which is why he's bringing in Trickster.  Catwoman is worrying about Gotham City when she sees the Trickster on the rooftop opposite her apartment. The two banter for a while before Catwoman realizes there's a genuine risk that the Trickster will discover her true identity. She flirts with him and asks to work together, an offer he accepts, but when he gives her his equipment to sneak into Selina Kyle's apartment, she steals it. He declares her "predictable, but cute."   Catwoman considers giving up now that the Trickster is after her, but after the politicians abandoned Gotham, they can give her New York City as recompense.   Barnaby Finnian, meanwhile, appears at Randolf Industries to order that all their accounts be frozen. The Trickster overhears, and as Finnian leaves, he chases after him and pretends to be a friend from college named "J.J." He says they should get lunch.   Finnian continues on his way, speculating on the origins of Selina Kyle as he goes, but the Trickster already has the truth: He leaks to a tabloid that Selina Kyle is secretly Catwoman. Her supporters start to turn on her, but within her campaign, it's believed to be a smear campaign. Selina panics regardless, especially when she learns that her personal accounts have been frozen while the SEC investigates her.   The Trickster visits Selina in her office as "Jesse James" and tells her that the Trickster was the one who told the tabloids that tall tale. Catwoman goes to confront the Trickster in the Sick Pig. She demands to know how he knows, but he claims to be ignorant of why Catwoman is angry. It appears he accidentally came up with the truth.   Catwoman breaks into Carlino's office, beats up his goons, and tells him she'll be the one who kills Selina Kyle.
