Synopsis

I'LL TAKE MANHATTAN PART 5 - DOUBLE OR NOTHING Catwoman tells Carlino she wants him to call off the other assassins because she wants to kill Selina Kyle herself. She doesn't have the same rep in New York City that she enjoyed in Gotham City. This is a way to prove herself.   Carlino doesn't see why he should call off the others, but when Catwoman threatens him, he gives in. Catwoman knows she has to re-prioritize after Selina Kyle's name was dragged through the mud in the press, and this way, she gets a payout for "killing" herself and she gets the Trickster off her back. If the Trickster is off her back, that gives her more time to focus on pulling out the assets the Securities Exchange Commission froze.  The Trickster is waiting for her outside Carlino's office. He tells her Carlino can't pay half as well as raking Selina Kyle's bank account. He stole the paperwork that the SEC planned to use to transfer Selina's assets to pay off the shareholders if Selina is found guilty, which he can use to transfer the money into his accounts, and he promises to let Catwoman in on the scheme if she agrees to be partners.   Back in Selina's apartment, Catwoman decides to "wait" for Selina Kyle to come home while the Trickster digs through her belongings. Suddenly Catwoman gets an idea. She tells the Trickster they're fighting the New York mob because they're protecting Kyle, but really she's hoping one of the mobsters will hurt the Trickster.   He suspects she's just killing time because she doesn't know where to find Kyle. To cover for herself, she interrogates the mobsters for Kyle's current location. The Trickster is distracted by another mobster, but when he's finished handling that, Catwoman tells him she has a lead.   She claims the mobster she interrogated gave her the fake ids for "Lily Sebastian" and "Alida Bennet," aliases she has previously used.   The Trickster pursues the Alida Bennet lead to Giglioni's where he corners "Alida." His attempt to grab her ends abruptly when the owner claims Alida is his daughter and definitely not Selina Kyle. The owner closes the door shut behind the Trickster, and Alida pulls off her wig to reveal she is Selina. She pays the owner and his son Eugenio for their help.   Catwoman steals the files from the Trickster, but when she opens the manila envelope, she finds only a note reading "bad kitty." She is furious.
