Synopsis

PRISONERS OF THE DARK WORLD! Batman, Robin, and a boatload of people find themselves sent through a strange dimensional warp into another world, where they must help the native Yllans overcome the lizardlike Gruggs. After their adventure is over, the passengers of the boat realize that their lives are forever changed, and the Dynamic Duo captures another criminal. THE SENSATIONAL SEA SCOOPS When Ken Wall, reporter for the Maritime News, crashes his helicopter out at sea, Aquaman and Aqualad come to his rescue. Bringing him to a hospital, they are told that he will be unconscious for a number of days. In order to help Ken out, Aquaman and Aqualad promise his wife they will help produce and deliver the Maritime News while Ken is in his coma. In doing so, the two heroes attract the attention of a criminal sea captain and his goons who have a submarine at their disposal. They try to destroy the two heroes, but ultimately fail. After busting up the crooks and writing a report in the newspaper about the adventure, Aquaman and Aqualad visit Ken in the hospital who is now fit enough to be discharged and resume his newspaper business. THE GIRL HERO CONTEST John Jones is scheduled to present an award to the bravest policewoman of the year, which sets off a competition between Diane Meade and her rival, Sally Winters.
