The story of the births of Dart and Windkin are reminisced, being two children born of formerly recognised couples: Strongbow & Moonshade, and Dewshine & Tyldak. Pike claims he is recognised to dreamberries.Pike at a fireside-council mentions a few Wolfriders who had previously not been introduced in any of the original ElfQuest by Wendy Pini. Finally, the couple had a staring contest, wherein the third discovered each others soul names in the art of recognition, "Wirr, and Prye".
